- Gear Axe is a near-identical replica to the weapon that Rahjin the Thief King wields.
- The only difference between them is the texture - Rahjin's axe uses the metal texture whereas Gear Axe has the marble texture.
- This was the first axe to be added to the game.
- This was the only Rare drop in the Virhst Woodlands until Ruin Blade was added in v170.
- All of the Uncommon swords from Redveil Grove outclass Gear Axe, making it borderline useless.
- Additionally, when maxed, its damage is one point lower than the Lvl 21 maxed Common weapons from Arcadia, meaning that by the time the player gathers enough rare crystals to fully upgrade Gear Axe they will likely be capable of buying, purchasing and fully upgrading other weapons far more easily.
- Because of this and its low drop chance, Gear Axe is generally used as a collectable rather than a genuine weapon.
- Market price for a Gear Axe is typically between 60k and 80k depending on clean or upgraded status
