Overview[]
The Burning Abyss is a location in Va' Rok. It is a large, open ocean of lava with paths of magmatic rock and a chain bridge. It leads into the Twilight Cathedral and, afterwards, the Lair of Doom.

After passing the dungeon door, you will first encounter Undead Warriors, Reptasauruses, and Enraged Lingerers. There is a path with several holes in the ground that can be fallen into, resulting in the victim falling out of the map and dying.
Then, the player will then arrive at a chain connecting the first aisle to the next. This chain can be easily fallen off of, again resulting in whoever falls off falling out of the map and dying. The Enraged Lingerers can often push players off of the sides.
When making to the second isle, the player will encounter more Undead Warriors and some Undead Berserkers, grouped together in several clusters. After passing the mobs, there should be an entrance to the left to the Twilight Cathedral, the next part of the dungeon.
Trivia[]
- Rather than burning them. falling into the lava just causes players to fall out of the map and die.
- This is one of the few areas in the game that involve parkour or obby skill. One of them being the Furnace Room in Transylvania.
- The chains have been removed from the map as of Version 182.
